Introduction
Well, my first journal entry I suppose. This specific entry will primarily focus on my artistic intents, and, quite possibly, discussing and foreshadowing at future, artwork that is to arrive. Therefore, shall we allow this discussion to commence?

My current artistic intents are aiming at to gradually improve in my ability to create and portray realism, itself onto paper, with graphite, or pencils per se. My strategy for acheiving this goal, is to perform, "life studies" and to draw from reality, itself. Hopefully, through this practice my shading techniques will improve as well as my artistic perception of reality. Hence, be ready to to view (if you please) some of my upcoming studies from reality.

Also, once my practice with realism has came to a halt, or during my, "practice time" I may decide to work on some dark portraiture of some of the members of the French, underground black metal circle, the Les Légions Noires. Hopefully, through this I will improve in, both, my realism style of artwork, and my portraiture skills, as well. Therefore, I will more than likely acheive this meet, in due time.
Conclusion
All in all, somewhat in the very near future, once I obtain the proper materials, I will start to work on a, "training schedule" in which I will focus completely on realism and the various aspects related to it. Hopefully, you (if anyone) will enjoy these upcoming piece, and maybe try to improve either my own, through critique, or your artwork, through studying, so we can both become better artists.

If you are curious in viewing some of my artwork, I'll probably be uploading some this Christmas break, due to having a good amount of free-time, away from school.

That's pretty awesome. I like your taste in music, though I'll admit, i listen to MUCH more commercial metal.
It's mostly about sound quality, though. i personally can't stand telephone-production metal yet, Bathory's first album is as raw as I'll go at the moment.
So... any recommendations for decent-quailty Black-ish metal? I'm looking for something on the melodic side, and not too hard to find on the internet.

Also, I believe that the bands, Ancient, Sigh, Catemenia, and possibly Graveworm could fit your interests maybe. Most of these bands should be easy to locate on the internet, but let me know if you are having any trouble finding them, and I'll scourge-up some blog-sites that I found and see if they have them.
Also, sorry if the subscript is difficult to read or anything. I'll keep it within the page and everything, but I'll use normals-sized font within the forums. Yet again, I apoligize for any difficulty in reading this font-size.
I enjoy Graveworm and Sigh already, but i've actually been meaning to look into both of them more, so i'll do that eventually. I'm also liking Catemenia and Ancient a lot, and I'll look up the other two as soon as i can.
Oh ,and in my search for some Catemenia albums, I''ve found another band that i had heard of, but never listened to until now: Windir. I'm enjoying their music as well.
